BAM! is a collective of artists, designers and urban planners who create installations in public spaces throughout the Dayton area. Our installations are interactive, informational and encourage positive social change.
BAM! was formed when Bethany Ramsey and Erin Gillespie agreed that they wanted to bring interesting, interactive, and informational events and installations to Dayton, OH. They are hugely influenced by the work of Candy Chang and the moment Erin introduced her work to Bethany, it was clear that they both wanted to create similar projects in Dayton.
Overall, BAM! aims to bring unique, varied projects to public spaces that the community can engage with and enjoy. They call themselves a collective because they want to collaborate with other motivated people and groups.
