Erin Gillespie

Erin is a Dayton transplant who brings a passion for creative placemaking and urban design to BAM! She is active in other community projects in Dayton including Activated Spaces, a vacant storefront campaign under the Greater Downtown Dayton Plan. She is also vice-chair of updayton, a young talent attraction and retention organization for the Dayton region. Before moving to Dayton, she completed her Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning in May 2010 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Erin also holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University. Erin co-founded BAM! as a tool to create quick, impactful urban art projects that will ignite conversation and engage the community. She hopes to help make the Dayton region a thriving place where everyone can succeed.
